Domain squatting
From WhyNotWiki
Domain squatters are evil (except for me, of course :-) )...
These are some of their unsavory practices:
- putting together many combinations of common words and registering many of them in hopes that they can re-sell them
- Waiting until someone else's domain expires (such as when they forget to renew) and then snatching it up
- Choosing likely misspellings of a popular site and registering those as domain names (although I think I've heard that that's illegal now)

Ruby SVN on Solaris (http://www.cuddletech.com/blog/pivot/entry.php?id=782).
I’m a rails developer and I was going to get one of those ultra machines sun was letting people try before they buy and put it thru the races and see how well it benched. Sun decided I wasn’t good enough to get the free trial citing some king of sarbanes-oxley thing. That was a big let down and I havn’t really messed with solaris since. I’ve got this domain I was going to use for the reports [[1]] that I would be willing to give away to someone doing nonprofit stuff or make other arrangements. I’d just rather see it used than just be a GoDaddy ad site.

There is a legitimate use for this: helping somebody come up with a domain name.
