Sola scriptura

Sola scriptura is Latin for "By Scripture alone" and is one of the most important concepts of the Protestant Reformation.
It means that the life-giving words of Scripture can be understood by mere mortals—people like you and me! That's good news!
It means that we don't have to depend on the church to feed us God's Word. God reveals himself to us through his Word.
