Bruce began the program reviewing the topic from the 2/9 Crosstalk that concerned Melissa Busekros, the 15 year old girl who was attending public school in Germany. She was doing well in most of her studies but having some trouble with two classes so her parents decided to home school her.
Eventually authorities took custody of Melissa and checked her into a psychiatric ward where she is being treated for "school phobia."
Having been raised in a teaching family and having attended public school himself, Bruce discusses where the salt and light should come from for those in the public school environment, how school crime is being underreported, and how in general, public education is a tool for inculcating children with the worldview of whatever group happens to control the public school mechanism.

~They want to get control of the schools, because they know if they control the schools, they can soon control the country's culture.
~They use names like "no name calling week" that sound innocent enough. Parents don't even realize what their kids are even exposed to.
~Made to read pro-homosexual material as early as [1st grade].
~When kids show violence or sexual aggression to other students, they try to hide/cover-up the story (partly because they don't want parents to see how pro-gay they are)... certainly don't let law enforcement take care of it as they should.
~People have it wrong: Christians aren't trying to push religion on everyone and make everyone a Christian. But homosexuals are pushing their beliefs on everyone and trying to get everyone to believe homosexuality is okay.
