System Setup: AMD 4000+ X2, 2GB A-Data DDR2 800, 80 GB WD IDE Harddrive, ASUS IDE DVD RW, Nvidia 7100GS GPU (to have a DVI output) Loaded system with Ubuntu 6.4 first, but like the other reviewer it did not recognize most parts on the board. Reloaded with 7.04, and everything was found. System runs stable and smooth.
Built with AMD X2 4000 Brisbane, Asus SATA DVD burner, 1gb Crucial ram, used old WD 160gb IDE hard drive. $300.00 to build. Love this thing!
I run this thing with 2gb of RAM, a 2ghz 64 X2 and 2 extra fans (1 PCI exhaust, and I attached an intact fan on the bottom left passive air intact using zip ties).
Cons: When I ordered the board I was under the impression that I could put 4GB of DDR2 800 on the Mobo but when I got it the booklet confirms that it can only handle 2GB of DDR2 800. It also has no support for SLI or Crossfire.
